Welcome to Bountiful Candles Co.! These Terms of Service explain the rules for using our website at www.bountifulcandles.co and buying our products and workshops. By placing an order, booking a workshop, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

Bountiful Candles Co. is a small handmade business based in Titusville, Florida. We make candles, wax melts, car diffusers, and other home fragrance products, and we host candle-making workshops. You can reach us at daniela@bountifulcandles.co.

2. Orders and payment

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

  • Your order is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

  • We may cancel an order if a product is out of stock, a price was listed incorrectly, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel, we'll give you a full refund.

  • Payments are processed by trusted third-party payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.

3. Our handmade products

Everything we make is handcrafted in small batches. Small differences in color, texture, and appearance are a natural part of handmade products and are not defects. Scent strength can vary based on room size, airflow, and personal sensitivity.

4. Product safety

Please follow all care and safety instructions on our labels and website. In particular:

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

  • Keep candles, wax melts, and car diffusers away from children and pets.

  • Burn candles on a heat-safe surface, away from anything flammable.

  • Use wax melts only in a warmer designed for them.

  • Car diffusers should never block your view or interfere with driving.

  • Stop use if you experience irritation or a reaction to any fragrance.

You are responsible for using our products safely and as directed.

5. Shipping, pickup, and delivery

  • Orders usually ship within 5-7 business days. Shipping times after that depend on the carrier.

  • Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information.

  • We aren't responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

  • Wax is sensitive to heat. Please bring packages inside promptly. We're not responsible for melting or damage that happens after a package is delivered.

  • Local pickup orders must be picked up within 30 days of your pickup email unless we've agreed on another time.

6. Returns, refunds, and damaged items

All sales final: Because our products are handmade and fragrance products can't be resold once opened, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

7. Workshops

  • Workshop spots are reserved once payment is complete.

  • Details like date, time, and location will be emailed to you after booking.

  • Cancelling: If you cancel at least 7 days before the workshop, you'll receive a credit toward a future workshop. Cancellations after that are not refundable, but you may send someone in your place.

  • If we cancel: If we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, you can choose a new date or receive a full refund.

  • Workshops involve hot wax and fragrance oils. Please follow all instructions given during the workshop. Attendees under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

8. Custom, bulk, and corporate orders

Custom, bulk, corporate gifting, and event favor orders may have their own terms, such as deposits, timelines, and approval of designs. Those terms will be shared with you in writing before your order is confirmed. Once a custom order is in production, it can't be cancelled or refunded unless we agree otherwise.

9. Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages from Bountiful Candles Co., you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and order update messages at the phone number you provided. Messages are sent through Squarespace.

  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • Message frequency varies, up to 5 messages per month.

  • Message and data rates may apply.

  • Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You'll receive one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed.

  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at daniela@bountifulcandles.co.

  • Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Our content

All photos, text, logos, and designs on our website and social media belong to Bountiful Candles Co. Please don't copy or use them without our written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bountiful Candles Co. is not responsible for any indirect or accidental damages from using our products, website, or workshops, including damage caused by misuse or failure to follow safety instructions. Our total responsibility for any claim will not be more than the amount you paid for the order involved.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Brevard County, Florida.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use our website or place orders means you accept the updated terms.
